This game is exactly why the FA cup has become a second rate competition

The underdogs playing negative defence, and the senior club fielding a second string team

In years past it was a great competition, but now?............mwath

I enjoyed our victory at Stoke yesterday, it was the first time in a many years that Wolves have gone for it in the cup.

Liverpool got what they didn't want, another January match

Plymouth got what they wanted, a replay at home.

    Money won, football lost.

We are less certain how it will end, recent observations suggest the universe will expand forever at an ever increasing rate.

Assuming that the replay is on TV, with the gate receipts from both games and both games on TV plus their prize money for reaching round 3, then they will earn in excess of 1 million pounds

So, an additional 500,000 is not far off the mark.
