Finally, Please remember that you need a lot of UPLOAD Bandwidth to watch Acestream streams. At least 2000 kbps.

If you are unsure, check your bandwidth here http://www.speedtest.net/

And your ISP may be shaping your traffic.

No....I read it as being possible using WineBottler or VirtualBox.

I have tried to download acestream from the link and its extremely slow I mean 6-7 kb slow????

Maybe that is something to do with the Turkish authorities?

Or VPN's throttling downloads

Its not usually that slow downloading with my HSS, I will have to try again later.

is it just me acestream seems to **** up,the last 2 weeks got brill Q and after so long buffering 0,now i run at 70mbps i usually equate that my ip will allow me 10% for p2p so you would think that is good enough, like i say is just me. i will try sopcast again after 2yrs

I still have Windows XP on my PC.....and I did the speed test ...... ping 65 ms , 43.14 Mbps on download, 2.50 Mbps on upload ...is this any good????

Yes, that is a fast DL speed. You should be able to watch any stream available anywhere.
